Job Description
At Voltalia we are passionate about renewable energies! We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M and Distribution. Today we are in 20 countries, split among 4 continents, and offering a global operating capacity to our clients. We are listed on the regulated Euronext market in Paris since July 2014.
Our Operation & Maintenance department is looking for an O&M Technician, at Timahoe, who will have the following responsibilities:
- Drawings and wiring diagrams interpretation;
- Attend and support to emergencies on the PV plants of his area, or any other geographies where Voltalia is managing PV plants;
- Participate in integrated commissioning and start-up activities in any other geographies where Voltalia is managing PV Plants.
- Compliance with KPI’s contractually defined with customers and correspondent interfacing;
- Analysis and solution of technical issues that occur in a photovoltaic installation;
- Compliance with all company procedures and guidelines;
- Conducting maintenance services of electrical components;
- Failures diagnostic and troubleshooting;
- Maintenance reporting;
- Follow-up reports of the operation and maintenance activities;
- Compliance the preventive maintenance plan for all equipment;
- Operation and resolution of all existing faults;
Requirements
- High School - Electricity Professional Studies (preferred);
- 3 years of experience in similar functions;
- Knowledge of maintenance management processes and systems;
- Knowledge of Medium Voltage and Power Electronics;
- Knowledge of Technical Design;
- Knowledge of photovoltaic solar energy (Wind, Hydroelectric energy or other, is also important);
- Microsoft Office domain;
- English Proficiency (mandatory);
- Availability to travel abroad for limited periods and on short notice.
