Job Description

Hey there and welcome to your new Opportunity with us.
Being an HSE Manager Italy is an exciting task, since you are the superhero we need.
These here are your most important tasks:

  • Regularly review existing HSE documentation to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices, and update documents accordingly to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with service managers and employees to gather information and feedback, ensuring that documents reflect the most current safety and environmental practices.
  • Collect and analyse HSE data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and translate findings into actionable document updates.
  • Generate reports on HSE document compliance and performance, presenting findings to management.
  • Manage the E2E process of preparing HSE documentation to allow our service team on-site access to our customers' plants.
  • Handle in autonomy customer requests on HSE topics.
  • Support the Sales team during negotiations on HSE topics.
  • Take care of collecting, checking and storing all HSE documentation needed at the various worksites.
  • Know and keep up-to-date on the relevant legislation on safety at work (Legislative Decree 81/08 as amended).
  • Collect all information necessary for the preparation of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR) and takes care of its preparation.
  • Organize and monitor worker training courses in accordance with the provisions of Art.37 Legislative Decree 81/08 as amended and mandatory medical examinations.
  • Manages the implementation of training programs for workers.
  • Manages the First Aid procedure.
  • Prepare health and safety risk assessment.
  • Manages activities pertaining to workplace health and safety.
  • Coordinates activities for compliance with legal requirements related to ESH and manages authorization practices and contacts with external agencies.
  • Coordinates activities related to health surveillance.
  • Participates in meetings with workers' safety representatives, the competent physician, and the employer. Organizes action plans and corrective measures identified during meetings.
  • Collaborates on an ongoing basis with the external RSPP.
  • Interacts with various figures inside and outside the company, checking and monitoring compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Create/update training materials.
  • Manage emergency response plans and procedures.

Your profile

  • Degree in a relevant field: Ingegneria (e.g. Ambientale) or Tecniche Prevenzione e Protezione luoghi di lavoro or a related discipline o/and equivalent higher education (technical institute) o/and completion of a training course with RSPP or ASPP qualification.
  • Proven experience in the role of at least 2 years.
  • Strong knowledge of Testo Unico 81/08 s.m.i./Testo Unico ambientale 152/06 e s.m.i./normativa antincendio e CPI/Accordo stato regione per formazione.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices for Italy.
  • On-site experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • English C1 level.
