Job Description
Thinking about changing your career? Our Renewables Division is looking for you with solid experience in HVAC systems and team leadership. Have you already undertaken a leadership role or are you keen to enhance your leadership skills to ensure excellent HVAC deliveries on large-scale offshore substation projects? If so, we want to hear from you!
In your new position as Manager in the Renewables Engineering division, you will lead a skilled team of HVAC Engineers. Your team is crucial in managing the HVAC Systems of offshore substations and ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
Your place of work will be at the office in Esbjerg, Copenhagen or Gdynia. For working with your colleagues on the other locations you should expect around 10-30 travel days per year.
“This role combines technical advancement with team leadership, paving the way for meaningful contributions to the renewable energy industry.” – Michael Dalstrup, Senior Manager, Head of Mechanical & Layout.
Your tasks and responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the HVAC discipline within the context of large-scale offshore substation EPC-projects, and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring continuous performance, quality, and thriving within your team and across the entire technical discipline portfolio.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Leadership and management of the team, including supervision and coaching
- Supporting your team with knowledge, technical solutions, and project-related tasks
- Resource coordination and planning in collaboration with our project management
- Ensuring performance and quality across the entire technical discipline portfolio
- Continuously focus on development of process and tools
- Cooperation and coordination with other technical areas
Your profile and qualifications
You are – or aspire to become - a people manager focused on setting your team up for success while enjoying leading coordination, technical solutions, and project tasks with an eye for anticipating potential bottlenecks in project execution. This means you have a structured and solution-oriented approach and are eager to develop both personal and team skills
You will be part of a team that prioritizes precise deliveries and a flexible working environment. We are sociable, helpful, and open to input, as well as dedicated, executory, and structured, with respect for the agility that is a natural part of our core task. We expect the same from you.
Besides solid experience in HVAC, we imagine that you:
- Hold an educational background in mechanical, marine engineering, or related field.
- Preferably have experience in a leadership role balancing technical expertise with people development
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Are a dedicated team player who enjoy building long-term relations
