As a Transport & Logistics Coordinator within our Sustainable Business Energy Solutions (SBES) Team, you'll be responsible for managing the interface between our internal and external customers and the company acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and issue resolution. The ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relations while delivering a high level of customer support and administrative services is critical to the success of this role.
The SBES Team at AGL is responsible for establishing and sustaining a market leading position across business distribution and energy solutions including virtual power plants, solar energy, lighting, PFC, and energy storage services for the business sector in Australia.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing a high level of customer service to clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders by coordinating a range of tasks and effectively liaising between all stakeholders to facilitate different information quickly with no errors, in a clear and effective manner.
- Managing incoming inquiries from various stakeholders with a fast turnaround on information or requests with high level of customer service.
- Generating necessary monthly reports to monitor performance of each carrier and working in consultation with 3PL partners ensuring Master Service Agreement (MSA) is maintained and also working with 3PL providers on any credit creation, recording root causes for further evaluation and approval.
- Providing freight quotes and responding to customer service requests in a timely and efficient manner as well as handling customer and supplier issues as they arise to deliver high standards of customer service, including handling lost in transit and damaged events, service interruption mitigation, and non-contracted logistics solutions.
- Providing strategic planning direction in respect to best practice, cost effective transport & logistics, ensuring the establishment of systems, policies and standard operating procedures are in place with chosen 3PL partner.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in a similar role within Transport and Logistics, Warehousing and or Customer Service.
- Intermediate to high level of competency using Excel including pivot tables and formulas.
- Exceptional communication skills over the phone and via email.
- Ability to input data with a high level of accuracy ensuring that reports and rate cards do not have any misinformation.
- High-level problem-solving skills, accountability, attention to detail and ability to “think on your feet”.
