Job Description
The Regional Manager, Interconnection will be tasked with managing the successful completion and handoff of projects for the region as well as assist in developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction for the Department. The Regional Manager, Interconnection is responsible for organizing, motivating, and leading teams to deliver against key performance indicators, driving financial performance and efficiency in multiple office locations by managing a set of Department Specialists.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful completion and project close out as required for the Department
- Manage backlog across multiple regions with the support of Department Specialists
- Responsible for data accuracy, volume, velocity and reporting for regions within their department
- Sets goals and allocates resources to ensure all KPIs are met or exceeded
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist in the development of programs and process roll out that support the organization’s strategic direction
- Constantly communicate areas of improvement to upper management and work to develop process improvements
- Collaboration with other departments on new strategic initiatives
- Provide leadership and direction to Department Specialists
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to department staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
Education & Certifications:
- High School Graduate or GED
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the solar industry
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
- Confidence, drive, enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility
- Strategic leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent complex multi-functional project and people management skills
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
- Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues in a confidential manner
- Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player and must be prepared to travel as necessary to maintain relationships with license holders and license issuance agencies
Physical Demands and Abilities
- Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
- Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly
- Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
- Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand
- Regularly understand the speech of another person
- Frequently work on projects that require deadlines
- Occasionally lift 10-15 pounds
Travel Requirements (Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work.)
If required to travel, must have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
