About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to play a critical role in overseeing and managing key Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) suppliers. You will be responsible for building and strengthening supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and managing contract performance. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure our key managed service contracts support AGL’s business needs, while also driving value, mitigating risks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery and business value.
  • Monitor and drive supplier performance against SLAs and contractual obligations, holding partners accountable and implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Lead and manage a Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) process, leveraging supplier partnerships to drive enhancements beyond contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with procurement partners to review, report, and revise contractual agreements, ensuring compliance and optimal value.
  • Act as the primary contact for supplier performance and operational issues, facilitating dispute resolution and ensuring smooth supplier engagements.

About you

What you’ll bring to the table

  • Experience in a senior supplier relationship management role, within a complex environment, managing multiple strategic suppliers.
  • Extensive experience managing outsourced/BPO suppliers, with deep knowledge of the outsourcing market and supplier relationship strategy.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proven track record in driving business objectives through supplier partnerships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations effectively.
