What you would be expected to do
- Lead the development of the product roadmap and strategy for Sun King’s solar home systems and appliances, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define product requirements and specifications.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, and use this information to inform product decisions.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback post-launch, and iterate on the product as needed to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to ensure successful product adoption and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation within the product portfolio.
You might be a strong candidate if you
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, design) or equivalent experience.
- Have 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the renewable energy, consumer electronics, or related industries.
- Have a strong understanding of product development processes, from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Have experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
