Job Description

Analyzes and develops the elements of Transport processes, in order to achieve and implement highly efficient Logistics standards within Nacelles organization.
- Analyzes and constantly optimizes the organization´s processes to enhance performance.
- Establishes, monitors, updates, and benchmarks metrics, and derives and proposes measures to improve.
- Provides analyses as required by Nacelle organization.
- Proposes and takes over responsibility for defined and assigned improvement projects transport related.
- Initiates and implements supplier improvement programs.
- Cooperates with other internal functions to ensure acceptance of and adherence to SGRE processes, guidelines, and tools.
- Communicates with internal & external auditors in accordance with the superior.
- Contributes to projects, work groups and the training of new employees in the area of expertise.
We are looking for our Nacelles inbound operations team a committed and motivated Transport Project Manager to ensure the successful execution of our growing project pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Participate in NPI/NPP projects' logistics workstream- Transport related scope, with the potential to lead the transport workstream.
- Conduct material flow analysis, including mapping and storyboards for handling components.
- Support other PMs on development warehouse layouts, space estimations, and building requirements.
- Create scenarios and business cases to support strategy and selection.
- Provide analyses as required by Nacelles organization.
- Support shop floor activities during the installation and start of the production phase.
- Manage stakeholder interfaces and relationships with internal and external parties.
- Lead the project for the implementation of a new non-valuated plant.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and manage the work of Key Users required for detailing requirements specification, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and training of End Users.
- Ensure clear communication and coordination between all stakeholders, including business and IT teams.
- Business Case/OPW Development Support to SBI
- Serve as the Logistics PM for potential future projects that may require involvement.
- Assess, plan, and manage additional logistics projects to support business needs and objectives.
- Ensure alignment and integration of new projects with existing logistics operations and strategies.
Qualifications
- Preferably hold a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics.
- 5+ years of experience in the design, control, and improvement of source, deliver, and return setups, and the IT tools (SAP) that support them.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing, preferably within the wind industry or with heavy components.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Comfortable working in an international, multi-cultural team and capable of working effectively across department boundaries in a large organization.
- Open-minded and proactive personality with a quality-oriented and structured approach.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30-50 days per year during the start of productions.
- Project management skills and experience are a plus but not required.
