Vice President - Global Manufacturing Technology

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to join our organization as Vice President, Global Manufacturing Technology. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping and driving the Global Manufacturing Technology roadmap across all manufacturing sites.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing operational excellence, automating our production, driving our footprint development, delivering cost out opportunities and securing new product introductions are done effectively, while supporting the company’s growth and innovation goals.

This position is a part of Operations Senior Leadership Team, and will work closely across all our manufacturing sites and global support functions providing support to execution. The functional responsibility includes:

• Manufacturing Engineering Service
• Manufacturing Excellence
• Manufacturing New Product
• Introduction (processes)
• Manufacturing Cost Out

Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Management-Lead, manage, and execute cross-functional projects, hereunder footprint changes and initiatives that support strategic goals, resolve complex challenges, and promote continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Operational Excellence- Ensure world-class operational efficiency and performance through a strong Lean culture, a competitive cost structure, and benchmarking against industry best practices.
• Continuous Improvement-Continuously develop people, principles, methods, tools, and processes to enhance operational efficiency, technological capabilities, and organizational agility.
• Strategic Leadership and Execution-Actively contribute to the development and execution of the Global Operations Strategy, while leading its implementation within Global Manufacturing Technology (GMT), ensuring full alignment with the company’s overarching goals, performance targets, and long-term vision.
• Cross-Functional Alignment-Foster strong collaboration across the Global Operations organization as well as rest of KK Group with key stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment and value creation.
• Innovation-Champion a proactive, innovative approach to manufacturing by utilizing Industry 4.0+ platform and delivering cutting-edge solutions that position KK as an industry leader.
• Change Leadership and Transformation-Drive organizational change management within the KK framework, leading transformation initiatives across GMT.

Our requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree within a manufacturing area is required. A business degree (e.g., MBA) combined with a technical background or high technical insight—particularly in Electrical Power Systems, Energy Systems, or related fields—is welcomed.

Experience: Over 10 years of leadership experience managing large-scale manufacturing operations within mid-sized industrial companies, with a strong track record of operating effectively in a global matrix organization.

Proven expertise in Lean methodologies with a strong track record of continuous improvement (CI) results.

Extensive experience in managing and coordinating across multiple manufacturing sites.

Personal characteristics:

The person possesses strong leadership skills and have a proactive mindset and be very strong at communication. Your energy level is high and you have a high personal drive. Communication is central and key to success in this role, e.g. you must be able to create holistic and easy understandable presentations for executive decision making.

Furthermore, the person is a passionate team player with holistic view, a strategic mindset with attention to detail and thrives in a dynamic world within a company with high ambitions.

Travel:

You will be required to travel up to 50-70 days per year.

Location:

The location will be Ikast, Denmark.

Organisation:

You will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer in KK Group.
