Who are you?
You are a highly motivated and engaged electrical tradesperson ready to take the next step in your career within an organisation that offers exciting opportunities. With experience in maintaining industrial production equipment, conducting condition-based assessments, and following routine maintenance schedules, you’ll play a key role in our hydropower stations.
You hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology and ideally a Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence (or an equivalent interstate licence). A current driver’s licence and strong computer skills are also essential.
About the role
To put it simply… support production through maintenance and refurbishment of generating equipment. Based out of Gowrie Park, you’ll be working across a range of hydropower stations all with their own story. Alongside your team of pros, you’ll maintain hydropower assets that play a key role in Tasmania’s renewable future.
As an Electrician, you will be…
- Conducting operational repairs and preventative maintenance,
- Providing mentoring and supervision to junior Technicians/Assistants and Apprentices,
- Performing basic operational activities and assisting with appropriate isolations,
- Participating in local area on call roster,
- Undertaking regular equipment inspection regimes,
