Job Description
In order to scale up our innovative chemical plant in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Skeleton Materials, a part of Skeleton Technologies Group, is looking for a skilled and experienced Synthesis Operator/ Chemikant (m/f/x)
Skeleton Technologies is Europe’s leading manufacturer of ultracapacitors and has achieved global breakthroughs in product performance using patented graphene-based materials. We deliver high power and high energy storage solutions across industries including the automotive, aerospace, industrial and renewables sectors.
As Synthesis Operator and the newest addition to Skeleton’s Cell Development Team, you will be part of our chemical production team in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, where we are seting up a pilot scale production of curved graphene. You will be able to use your experience from previous piloting or scale up processes and at the same time develop your existing skills further and gain new ones.
You will be assigned the following tasks:
- Operation of pilot reactor equipment (loading, unloading, supervision under operation)
- Maintenance of reactor and peripheral equipment
- Implementation of new equipment and infrastructure
- Perform quality tests on materials
- Uphold safety procedures
- Documentation of daily activities and processes
Requirements
You are a good fit for the team if you can tick off the following boxes
- You have got a technical background, either as an Engineer or an Operator
- You have experience in the operation of small scale reactors (<1000 kg)
- You know how to handle toxic gases in an chemical production environment and you are familiar with such gas supply systems
- You are experienced with handling chemical production documentation and the connected data
- You are ready to work in shifts
- You speak English and ideally German
- You display ambition and you are driven by results;
