We are seeking a motivated L1 IT Support Specialist to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy person willing to help your colleagues with IT solutions, we’re looking for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to end-users
- Purchasing, installing, and configuring hardware and software. Maintaining software and hardware inventory records
- Troubleshooting technical problems and identifying the root cause of issues
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Documenting technical issues and resolutions for future reference
- Collaborating with other IT team members to ensure that systems are functioning properly
- Assisting with testing and implementation of new software and hardware
- Creating and maintaining user accounts and security settings
Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Windows (desktop and server) operating systems
- Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP and DNS
- General knowledge of current technologies, willingness to learn new technologies
- Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Experience in setting up and controlling peripherals
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Independence, diligence, responsibility and systematicity
