Job Description

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in electrical engineering? We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead an exciting project in Central Romania, near the city of Sibiu.

This role requires your daily presence on-site from 1 March 2025 to 28 May 2026. If you have a proven track record in a similar industry and are ready to take on a new challenge, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating seamlessly with construction project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Efficiently organising site facilities on project sites (geodetical survey, containers, guards, Toi Tois, waste management)
  • Coordinating civil works on sites (access and inner road execution, fencing, grass cutting etc.)
  • Managing material deliveries, quality checks, and stock reports
  • Supervising construction sites and ensuring smooth subcontractor coordination
  • Controlling and accepting completed work with precision
  • Processing work lists and approving measurement reports
  • Maintaining a detailed construction diary and preparing weekly site reports
  • Ensuring schedule compliance and communicating with construction supervisor
  • Conducting safety inspections and upholding site safety standards
  • Supporting contract negotiations and to secure permits and licenses

Qualifications and Experience

  • High current / low current electrical education
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the field
  • Orientation in technical documentation (construction, electrical)
  • Basic orientation in electrotechnical standards
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety processes and with keeping a construction diary
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD program is a big advantage
  • Romanian langugae on a native speaker level, English on communicative level
  • Driving licence B – active drive with willingness to travel
  • Great communication and organisational skills, independent and flexible thinker, team player with strong cooperation skills, goals-orientated
