Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned EPC Project Manager (based in either Milan or Verona, Italy) to join our dynamic project management office (PMO) team actively harmonizing, developing and continuously improving our processes, procedures, and tools. team. Your contribution to the energy transition

As an experienced EPC Project Manager you will be responsible for the execution of projects on time within budget and scope. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large-scale project delivery within the photovoltaic and EPC sectors. This role involves liaising with team members, managing projects directly, and collaborating strategically with department heads on various initiatives. You can look forward to the following tasks:

  • Ensure that project is delivered on-time. Create full-scale project plans & construction schedules. Track project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure that project is delivered within budget. Keep overview of budgetary objectives, identify discrepancies and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Ensure that project is delivered within scope. Monitor compliance with specifications and requirements included in project contracts and other related project documents.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
  • Ensure resource availability/allocation and technical feasibility. Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of the project.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on regular basis. Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to the Project Sponsor and other company executives and to the customer.
  • Implement & comply with JUWI processes and standards.

Your energy is required

You impress us with these qualifications:

  • University Degree in Engineering. Management studies at a post-graduate level will be considered a plus.
  • Proven working experience in project management, preferably in solar projects. PMI certification will be considered an asset.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Experience of contract management and knowledge of standard contract forms.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Project & MS Office.
  • Fluent in Italian and in English (verbal & writing).
  • Excellent communication skills: able to communicate across levels both internally and externally.
  • Ability of working autonomously, decision making and problem solving.
  • Team player with evident leadership qualities.
  • Willing to travel frequently, locally and internationally, and stay on site.
  • Demonstrable ability to work in matrix organizations and to operate in a culturally diverse international environment.
  • Previous experience managing a team will be considered a plus.
