Your Tasks
- Developing technical solutions in the area of functional safety in collaboration with the specialist departments
- Creation of safety functions and documentation for functional safety
- Testing the implementation of safety functions (hardware and software)
- Evaluation of hardware and software solutions according to functional safety specifications
- Calculation of "Safety Integrity Level" (SIL) and Performance Level (PL)
- Consultation with external experts and authorities
Your Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science or comparable with relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of ISO 13849, IEC 61508 and ISO 12100 (risk assessment)
- Knowledge of industrial control systems paired with a solid understanding of general technical concepts
- Strong assertiveness with a focus on goals and solutions
- Exellent presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in technical and business English
- Functional Safety Engineer according to ISO 13849 is an advantage
