OX2's Romanian team is expanding rapidly together with the pipeline, and we are now looking for one Land Manager to join our journey. One role will be more senior, suitable for someone with extensive project management experience in renewable energy, while the other will fit a candidate with a solid foundation and potential for growth. You will play a critical role in driving renewable energy projects from initial concept to Ready-to-Build (RTB), ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Land Manager
We are seeking for a skilled and driven Land Manager to join the development team for developing renewable energy projects (wind onshore, photovoltaic, BESS).
The ideal candidate should preferably possess a strong background in land management for solar, wind, and/or energy storage projects or land acquisition, showcasing proficiency in both technical expertise and project management skills.
Your main responsibilities
- First and foremost: guarantee compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout the entire working activity.
- Oversee all aspects of land development projects from inception to completion.
- To negotiate, contact, draft, amend, submit, register, file, receive, make available to the public authorities (including, without limitation, the Land Registry and Real Estate Publicity Office, Land Registry):
- superficies, use, easement agreements to secure new land for the development of renewable electricity generation project.
- Contract Management of ongoing land contracts including the preparation of related payments.
- Relationship management with developers and other consultants on land rights, including following up on contracts.
- Identification of new land plots for renewable project developments.
- Conduct regular site visits.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation and records.
Stakeholder engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct due diligence on lands.
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and market intelligence.
Your qualifications and experience

Experience & Expertise
You have a strong background in Land and Project management within the renewable energy sector, particularly in wind and solar PV projects.
You demonstrate a proactive approach to building long-term relationships, complemented by strong communication skills.
Education & Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical field.
- Showcase a proven track record of successful land management related to developing and overseeing renewable energy projects.
- Display familiarity with pertinent regulations, permitting procedures, and environmental considerations prevalent in the renewable energy sector.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Showcase strong problem-solving abilities and the adaptability to navigate evolving circumstances.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Openness to change and flexibility
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is expected.
