Job Description

ENERCON are now recruiting for an Rotorblade Technician to be based in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.
This role requires high levels of travel mobility.
As a Rotor Blade Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Inspection, maintenance, and repair of rotor blades on ENERCON wind turbines throughout Ireland and abroad.
- Compile comprehensive rotor blade inspection reports.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of existing wind turbines nationwide and internationally, as, and when required.
- Adhering to site rules, policy, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Weekend work and overtime expected in line with project requirements.
Job Requirements
- Living less than 30 minutes’ drive from base location.
- Completed apprenticeship in a technical trade –mechanical fitter, aircraft mechanic, carpenter, marine repairs, etc.
- Technically competent, a strong mechanical aptitude along with a good working knowledge of fibreglass.
- Previous experience of blade repair and/or fiberglass repair work is an advantage.
- Full, clean B driving license is essential, C, C1, E+B licenses are an advantage or willingness to achieve these additional licence categories.
- Proficient computer skills are essential.
- Geographical mobility is essential – willingness to travel and work nationwide and abroad.
- Physically fit and comfortable with height.
