Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tender Specialist to manage tenders through the entire Wind1000 Group’s Sales process and deliver its expertise in price calculations for scope and risks incorporated to support with onshore tenders within the region and BU’s

Reports to: Head of Sales SESA

Location: Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain

Responsibilities

Manage complex onshore tenders

  • Receiving and registering requests from Client
  • Read and understand Client demands
  • Analyze tender material & contracts
  • Allocate requests within the team
  • Organize Teams’ Selling Approach Meeting to share the Request details
  • Collect all Inputs from supportive departments

Prepare offers

  • Prepare calculation/analysis about all costs to be included in offers
  • Support in identifying local/country requirements (eg. permit, visa etc.)
  • Make price proposal/offer and concepts
  • Closing – Align margin with overall expectations
  • Prepare and send ready offers to Head of Sales and Opportunity owner
  • Answer Client’s questions after consultation with Head of Sales and Opportunity owner

Administration work

  • Archive project related information – and align with Legal Department
  • Keep Sales activities and customer information updated (CRM)
  • Keep, develop and update database of project cost
  • Develop/present weekly reporting on request
  • Prepare/make a complete handover of sales budgets to operations
  • Support the Opportunity Owner /Operational Department with project/client related questions
  • Collect project/client related feedback and information
  • Prepare presentations for Sales meeting
  • Commercial/Analytical support in completing documents for contracts
  • Other supporting works for sales department

Potential sales activities

  • To be up to date with information about market/competitors
  • Make competitor and supplier analysis
  • Pro-Active approach on optimizations within sales
  • Joined customer visits
  • Train and support new Sales Personnel where needed to secure smooth introduction of new employee

Skills / Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of bidding strategies and contract management, ensuring compliance and competitive submissions.
  • Skilled in analyzing RFPs, RFQs, and ITTs, preparing cost-effective bids, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), streamlining tender documentation and reporting.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to optimize bidding strategies.
  • Nice to have strong commercial wind industry network and contacts database.
  • B2- C1 level for English is a must, Native Spanish speaker
