Job Description
Fuse Energy is a London-born, venture-backed climate tech startup on a mission to electrify the world—one rooftop at a time. After making waves in the UK, we're bringing our high-octane, customer-obsessed energy to the U.S., starting with Massachusetts. Our goal? To make clean energy accessible, affordable, and downright irresistible.
We're searching for a Master Electrician who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front. This isn't just another job—it's a chance to be the cornerstone of our U.S. operations. You'll start by installing rooftop solar systems and green energy devices, but that's just the beginning. As we scale, you'll recruit, train, and lead a team of top-notch electricians and installers. If you're passionate about clean energy and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, we want you on our team.
Location: Remote, must be able to visit sites across Massachusetts
Responsibilities
- Lead Installations: Execute and oversee the installation of residential rooftop solar systems and other green energy solutions.
- Team Building: Recruit, train, and manage a growing team of electricians and installers.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to all local codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and customer support, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Innovate: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Requirements
- Licenses
- Master Electrician: Valid in Massachusetts.
- Health and Safety: OSHA 10/30 Certification
- Driving: valid Massachusetts driving license
- Solar: NABCEP Certification
- Experience: 3 years in solar or renewable energy projects.
- Leadership: Proven experience in building and managing teams.
- Startup Mentality: Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with project management tools and CRM systems is a plus.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, work in various environmental conditions
