Job Description
All Energy Solar is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. The Inside Sales Specialist is All Energy Solar’s front line representative for most residential customers who educates them about the accessibility of solar energy. The Inside Sales Specialist is an authority on qualifying aspects of a solar purchase such as site characteristics, customer motivations, rate plans, available incentives, and utilities; and schedule PV system consultations for eligible, qualified leads. This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in Colorado, California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Complete high volume of sales calls daily while overcoming common objections.
- Schedule consultations for Outside Sales Consultants.
- Utilize proprietary tools and satellite technologies to qualify sites’ solar energy accessibility.
- Quickly and accurately respond to incoming inquiries and follow up with prospects to move them through the sales pipeline.
- Track daily activities and maintain detailed records of interactions, transactions, and feedback in Salesforce.
- Maintain and update customer databases, such as Salesforce
- Represent All Energy Solar in a professional manner.
- Meet or exceed set sales targets

Skills/Qualifications
- 1 or more years of sales experience or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience considered.
- Previous knowledge of or experience in solar (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Previous experience carrying one or more sales targets.
- Time management and organizational abilities.
- Able to work under pressure in an evolving and fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, confident, and outgoing.
- Available to work rotating weekends.
- Thrives in a team environment but able to work independently.
- Portrays a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Must complete and clear an MVR (motor vehicle) background screen.
- Must have reliable transportation for work/sales and business development purposes.
- Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (frequent).
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times (infrequent).
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute (frequent).

Compensation & Benefits
- This is a full-time position non-exempt (over-time eligible) position with an expected base hourly pay range of $18.00 - $22.00 hourly.
- Commission with an expected range of $10,000 - $20,000 per year.
- Additional on target earrings including incentives.
- Hybrid: This position is eligible to work a combination of in-office work at AES headquarters (St. Paul, MN) and remote/work from home eligibility: (*Note: this is subject to change by management based on company and business needs, may or may not be eligible until 90+ days of employment/training period completion, will be determined and agreed on by management and employee, and contingent upon employees being in good standing).
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (company core hours). This position and the working schedule offers flexibility and may require additional hours outside of normal working hours including but not limited to mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- PTO accrual per hour will be .03847, up to 80 hours annually (120 hours annually after year 1).
