Job Description
Join our Operations & Maintenance team as a Senior PLC Systems Specialist and play a key role in delivering smart control and monitoring solutions. You will work with modern technologies, support exciting projects in the clean energy sector, and help our clients keep their systems running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the installation, configuration, and optimisation of PLC-based control and monitoring systems
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for PLC systems and communication protocols such as Modbus and MQTT
- Designing customised solutions for clients, with a focus on network communication and device configuration
- Testing and integrating new PLCs, sensors, and communication technologies into existing platforms
- Coordinating project timelines, collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and commissioning
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation in accordance with industry standards
- Serving as the primary technical contact for clients, delivering customised solutions for their monitoring and control systems
- Overseeing the procurement and logistics of control equipment and installation components
- Staying informed about emerging technologies and contributing to the integration of new solutions that enhance system performance
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in an electrotechnical, technical or electrical engineering role
- Skilled in installing, diagnosing, and maintaining control and measurement systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve on-site technical issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Valid SEP (D + E) certification over 1kV
- Driving licence; active driver with willingness to travel to our client across Poland (up to 40% of the time)
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with our clients, suppliers and our internal teams
- Polish at a native-speaker level and English at a communicative level to effectively communicate with our clients
