As a Regional Manager at OX2, you are a key driver of the energy transition at a regional level. You will strengthen OX2’s local presence and reputation, building the trust and support needed to make our onshore wind and hybrid (wind, solar, battery) projects a reality. By shaping strategy and driving progress across the project portfolio, you ensure that each initiative aligns with local needs and delivers long-term value to communities.
As OX2’s regional spokesperson, you represent the company externally in media, public forums, and stakeholder dialogues – making the case for renewable energy and sustainable development. Together with project managers and in close collaboration with specialist teams across Communications, Public Affairs and Business Development, you develop and lead initiatives to identify partners, build lasting relationships, and ensure our projects contribute positively to regional growth and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to secure municipal support for OX2s projects.
- Represent OX2 regionally, including in media and stakeholder dialogues.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities and business communities.
- Support regional business development and project positioning efforts.
- Manage local consultants and coordinate with internal teams.
- Monitor and mitigate risks to safeguard OX2’s competitive position.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, or regional development, ideally within renewable energy or infrastructure.
- While an academic degree is beneficial, emphasis will be placed on your personal attributes and proven success in the relevant field.
- A strategic thinker who is both innovative and creative, capable of finding solutions beyond the traditional framework.
- Strong understanding of political and municipal decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Strategic, collaborative, and well-organized able to find win-win solutions.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, other languages are a plus.
