Job Description
New Energy Nexus (NEX), an international clean energy innovation service platform, is the official partner of COP28. Our vision is to build a 100% clean energy and sustainable world for 100% of the population in the shortest possible time. NEX China provides business needs matching and consulting services to large enterprises and start-ups to promote energy transformation and carbon neutrality goals. The Role
New Energy Nexus China is looking for an intern who is passionate about clean energy to support various businesses including industry research, accelerator operations and corporate consulting projects.
The work location is in Shanghai (Online work is negotiable).
Key Responsibilities
- In-depth desktop research: Conduct comprehensive and in-depth desktop research on industries such as electricity, energy, materials, and petrochemicals to explore key information, such as industry trends, cutting-edge technologies, and market patterns, to provide strong data support and information basis for project decision-making. It is required to accurately grasp the research direction, use multiple channels to collect information, and systematically organize and analyze it.
- Assist in project operations: Actively participate in the company's project operation process, assist the team in project progress tracking, resource coordination, and problem solving, put forward innovative and feasible ideas and suggestions, promote the efficient and smooth development of the project, and improve their own project management and collaboration capabilities.
- Efficient file organization: Responsible for the classification, filing, and management of various research documents, reports, and project materials, ensuring that the file system is clear and orderly, so that team members can quickly access and use it, and improve overall work efficiency.
- Assist in program production: Under the guidance of the project manager, participate in the planning and writing of project plans, including background analysis, goal setting, implementation steps, and expected effect evaluation, and use proficient word processing and logical thinking skills to contribute to the improvement of the plan.
Requirements
- Educational background: Full-time undergraduate or master's degree graduates, with energy, engineering, environment, chemistry, electrical and other related professional backgrounds preferred
- Experience requirements: Priority is given to those with relevant work experience such as report writing, interviews and surveys
- Have excellent project management and time management skills, be able to make overall plans according to the project delivery time, and be able to independently break down tasks to promote project progress
- Have strong research and analysis skills, be able to effectively collect and integrate information and pay attention to details; have excellent data sensitivity and data analysis skills, be able to process data and keenly capture data value
- Have excellent document writing skills, be able to independently write project documents and project content combing
- Have an international perspective and excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
- Proficient in office software such as EXCEL, PPT, Feishu; data analysis software such as Wind and Bloomberg
- Have an innovative spirit, act quickly, be highly self-disciplined, and be able to work in a global team in different locations and time zones
- This position works 3-4 days a week, the term is at least 3 months, and can be extended
