Job Description

European Energy is a green company in exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate projects within solar- (PV) and wind farms globally, as well as Power-to-X. Your new department
Your will join the Document Management Team which consists of 7 members. The Document Management Team is part of the Business Support Department. Business Support is responsible for European Energy's processes around the management of documents, administration of legal entities, and contractual obligations department. The Document Management team plays a key role managing and supporting our new Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) currently being implemented in European Energy.
Your new role
As our new Document Manager your responsibility will be to support the organization on documentation management within EDMS including creating and maintaining Master Document Lists (MDLs), document management support in relation to project gate passings, training and knowledge sharing and acting as EDMS specialist.
You have an eye for identifying both value and waste within a process and you want to partake in continuously improving the products and processes surrounding our document management.
You are motivated by supporting your colleagues throughout EE, organize and prioritize your own tasks with different issues simultaneously. You enjoy building relationships and interacting across different departments making sure documents are handled correctly.
Areas of responsibility
- Document management advice and support across EE
- Monitor adherence to EDMS requirements
- Support project management with project gate requirements in relation to project documentation
- Training colleagues in use of EDMS
- Develop, maintain and continuously update MDLs
- EDMS specialist
- Problem solving and continuous improvement
Prerequisites to thrive in the job
You have:
- Ideally 2+ years??? experience of working with electronic document management
- A good understanding of document and information structures
- You appreciate working in an international environment and enjoy working in an agile company
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, SharePoint and MS Office and ideally experience with EDMS system(s)
- You are proficient in both English and Danish
- An education relevant for the job e.g. within information science, Information management, record management, IT, or similar
- If you have experience with technical documentation or working within the renewable energy sector, it is beneficial
As a person you are structured and have a high degree of self-discipline. You understand and enjoy navigating and communicating in a complex organization with many different stakeholders where you must be able to act as a strong ambassador for EDMS. You are very organized in your work, but at the same time enjoy a changeable and at times hectic work day.
