Position Specific Description
In this role, you would directly impact our goal of successfully executing strategic initiatives across Development - NextEra Energy Resources. In this position, you will lead strategy implementation projects from conception to completion, working on a cross-functional team to support data driven decision making. You will be working with senior leadership and executive teams to drive strategic transformation efforts that will directly impact NextEra Energy's operational excellence and competitive advantage.
Beyond the requirements below, you will also be responsible for illustrating project status, outcomes, and strategic insights to executive leadership and suggesting process improvements. You will work across multiple business units to gain deep understanding of organizational capabilities, market dynamics, and strategic priorities. You will be able to dive into complex strategic initiatives and drive measurable business results. We have the best team in the business and are looking for hardworking, detail-oriented, and strategic leaders to join our team. This role will be based in Juno Beach, FL and will require limited ability to travel 5%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale strategic transformation and implementation projects
- Experience managing complex, multi-phase initiatives requiring stakeholder alignment, change management, and organizational coordination
- Experience with strategic planning, business case development, and performance measurement frameworks
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams across diverse business units
- Experience with implementing advanced project management principles, methodologies, and process optimization
- Experience & proficiency with strategic analysis, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools
- Experience & proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook, Word, and data visualization platforms
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills
- Candidates with prior energy industry experience, PMP certification, an MBA, or a relevant graduate degree are highly preferred
The estimated base pay for this position is $104,800.00 to $157,200.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
