Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Bid Coordinator to help us grow our pipeline with renewable energy projects in the public market segment, working with multilateral banks, governments, and other public institutions.
In this role, you’ll keep an eye out for new opportunities, coordinate bids and RFP responses, and make sure everything meets procurement requirements.
Concretely, your daily tasks in this role include:
Opportunity Identification & Qualification
- Monitor public procurement platforms and bid portals.
- Spot and qualify opportunities in renewable energy.
- Keep our database of active and upcoming bids up to date.
Bid & Proposal Coordination
- Prepare and submit Expressions of Interest and bid responses to international donor-funded calls (ADB, WB, GIZ, AFD, EBRD, EU).
- Deliver complete, polished responses on time and in line with RFP requirements.
- Ensure submissions are compliant, well-formatted, and deadline-ready.
- Work with internal teams to gather all needed documentation and certifications.
- Coordinate inputs from technical experts, partners, and legal.
Collaboration & Internal Support
- Keep internal resources up to date—project references, CVs, admin docs, etc.—so they’re ready for the next bid.
- Handle the administrative side of tender submissions.
For this position you will be part of the Tender team, report to the Tender Team Lead and you will be in contact with Sales Managers, Regional Managers and Technical consultants.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who’s got a knack for time and project management, knows their way around public-private procurement, and can come up with tailored solutions. You’re proactive, independent, and at the same time comfortable working within established procedures and processes.
What matters to us
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a field relevant to this role.
- You are eligible to work in the EU without the need of a work permit.
- You write and speak English and French with ease and precision.
- You’re confident with MS Office and the MS 365 suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
- You have at least a first work experience, showing your motivation and ability to thrive in a professional environment.
- You’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks and projects without losing your cool.
- You have a hands-on mentality, easily take initiative and can take charge of your learning curve to quickly see the bigger picture.
- You can keep your focus even when deadlines are tight.
Bonus points if you
- Have worked in the renewable energy or engineering sector.
- Have experience in public/private procurement for RFPs, tenders and contracting requirements.
- Speak Spanish or Dutch.
- Know your way around CRM tools like HubSpot or other sales management tools
