Renewable Asset Management Specialist - Solar PV
Contribute to European Energy in Søborg, Denmark as a Renewable Asset Management Specialist - Solar PV. Drive technical asset management, operational improvements, and project strategies.
As a Renewable Asset Management Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for your colleagues who are managing Solar PV projects in our various markets. The focus of your work will be the provision of technical expertise to the team regarding operational challenges, asset performance assessments, and quality inspections.
In addition to your contribution to our technical asset management activities under our service contracts, you will be managing and driving internal improvement projects to realize our strategy for 2026. This can be technical initiatives across the portfolio, optimization of processes and workstreams within our asset management group, or the streamlining of inter-department collaboration on project development, engineering, and construction.
Together with your future asset management colleagues you will work on standardizing and documenting portfolio procedures and establish strategies around our technical asset management activities.
Key responsibilities include
- You will set up, implement, and optimize the Technical Management Services for new Solar PV projects before Take-over by Technical Asset Management;
- You take responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Solar PV assets covering to a minimum legal, mechanical, electrical –safety, and environmental regulations, both contractually and locally;
- You drive our Health & Safety Strategy for operational Solar PV assets forward and implement improvements throughout the portfolio;
- You stand for data analysis and KPI management, toward technical performance and optimizations;
- As part of our service business, you join the optimization and negotiation of our technical management agreements including pricing and scope tailoring;
- You support our organization in optimizing the reporting systems configuration and take part in the configuration of our centralized monitoring and control systems.
To thrive in the role, we expect that you have the following competencies
- You hold a bachelor’s degree as a minimum in renewable energy, Electrical Engineering, or similar;
- You have 4+ years of work experience with Solar PV Systems, preferably in the operational stage;
- You have a general understanding of industry-standard cybersecurity controls;
- You can independently drive improvement projects and deliver results within defined timelines;
- You enjoy identifying regulatory challenges and finding suitable solutions that can be implemented across our international portfolio;
- You have solid Microsoft Office 365 and data analysis skills;
- You write and speak English at a professional level.
As a person, you are proactive and a good communicator. You possess a natural urge to constantly optimize our assets and drive change processes. You have an eye for detecting issues before they arise and take effective actions using a technical and data-driven approach.
You are aware of the innovations and developments in the Solar PV industry and are used to include sustainability and environmental considerations in your decision-making. Finally, you find it natural and interesting to coordinate with teams of different nationalities and ensure the timely involvement of relevant stakeholders.
