Production Supervisor (m/w/d)

We are Skeleton Technologies, a Global Cleantech 100 company and the global technology leader in fast energy storage. We have acquired a former European Batteries Plant in Varkaus where we will start with our pilot production of our SuperBatteries. With this strategic expansion, Skeleton Technologies will accelerate the development and production of its SuperBattery and other new energy storage products on its technology roadmap. This ramp-up of manufacturing and R&D capacity will strengthen Skeleton’s position to serve the market needs for high-power fast-charging energy storage, and explore new technologies.

We are looking for Production Supervisors (m/f/x) to join our mission in Varkaus.

You will be assigned the following tasks

• Shift Leadership: Manage personnel, production, and quality to ensure smooth operations while maintaining health, safety, and workplace standards.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold quality standards, prevent errors, and mitigate production risks.
• Performance & Communication: Monitor metrics, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication across teams and shifts.
• Team Development: Train, recruit, and structure teams to meet current and future needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements, refine procedures, and support company growth initiatives.

Requirements

You are a good fit for the team if you can tick off the following boxes:

• Completed vocational training, qualification as a master craftsman / technician or equivalent experience in a technical environment.
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the production area desirable.
• Relevant experience as a shift supervisor or production supervisor in a manufacturing company.
• Good knowledge of booking processes in an ERP system.
• Good comprehension and quick familiarization with new processes.
• Ability to work under pressure, in a structured way and independently.
• Strong communication skills, patience and perseverance.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Very good knowledge of Finnish and good knowledge of English.
