Position Summary
A&R Solar is seeking an experienced Solar and Storage Design Consultant to join our team as a 1099 contractor. In this role, A&R will disperse leads to you at A&R's discretion. You will then use A&R branded tools and modeling software to generate solar and/or storage designs, create proposals, and manage your sales pipeline. This is a commission-based position with a flat rate paid per win.
Responsibilities
- Utilize A&R supplied tools to generate branded proposals and create designs using modeling software.
- Develop solar and/or storage designs tailored to client needs.
- Create compelling proposals to present to potential clients.
- Self-manage your sales pipeline, including lead follow-up and closing sales to earn commission.
- Maintain accurate records of your sales activities and client interactions.
Requirements
- Applicants must be able to work in the PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) time zone between the business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, G-Suite, and Excel.
- Windows laptop required for this role.
- Experience with Aurora or OpenSolar design software preferred.
- Previous experience in the solar industry and sales experience preferred.
