About the Role
Aurora Solar is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior or Staff Product Manager to join our team and drive the optimization and scaling of Aurora’s complex solar marketplace. This is an incredible opportunity for a talented product leader to craft delightful experiences for homeowners while tackling the challenges of increasing conversion rates in a rapidly evolving market.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of transforming how homeowners explore, design, and purchase solar systems. Your expertise in A/B testing funnels, landing pages, and marketplace experiences will be pivotal in identifying opportunities, driving experimentation, and delivering impactful results. We would consider either a Senior Product Manager or a Staff Product Manager for this position.
Your Impact
- Develop a compelling vision and strategy to optimize and scale Aurora’s solar marketplace.
- Utilize data, user research, and customer insights to identify friction points and opportunities for delight in the homeowner journey.
- Design and implement A/B testing frameworks for funnels, landing pages, and marketplace flows to increase conversions.
- Partner with engineering, design, and analytics teams to execute rapid experiments and iterate based on measurable outcomes.
- Advocate for modular, scalable solutions to streamline marketplace optimization.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, balancing customer needs with business objectives.
What You Bring
- Marketplace Expertise: 5+ years of product management experience with a consistent track record of optimizing and scaling complex marketplaces.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: 3+ years of demonstrated ability in A/B testing, funnel analysis, and maximizing analytics to drive product decisions.
- Consumer-Centric Approach: Passion for creating seamless, engaging experiences that address customer pain points and priorities.
- Technical Acumen: 2+ years of experience with APIs, third-party integrations, and data-driven development processes.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Strong ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Hard work, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Customer Empathy: 2+ years experience conducting user research and synthesizing insights to guide product development.
- Understanding of Marketplace Dynamics: 3+ years experience and knowledge of supply and demand dynamics within a marketplace.
Nice to Haves
- Design background or proficiency.
- Knowledge of the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Experience managing complex e-commerce transactions and long customer journey cycles.
