Job Description

We are opening up the French market and you can be part of the first team on the ground!

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to support Enpal’s expansion into the French market - a new and exciting venture for our company. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in French labor law, corporate legal compliance, and human resources management. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth establishment of our operations in France by overseeing legal compliance and building the local HR framework for our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement the HR structure for the French market, including policies, procedures, and employee handbooks, tailored to local labor laws and cultural norms.
• Manage the recruitment process for new hires in France, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and alignment with Enpal’s culture and values.
• Develop onboarding programs to support the smooth integration of new employees into the company.
• Support employee relations by addressing workplace issues and ensuring a positive work environment.
• Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with French labor and tax laws.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive workplace culture that reflects Enpal’s commitment to diversity and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Legal Expertise: knowledge of French labor law, corporate compliance, and contract negotiation is essential.
• HR Experience: Proven experience in human resources management, with a focus on establishing HR structures and processes in compliance with local laws.
• Bilingual Communication: Fluency in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to navigate complex legal and HR issues and provide actionable solutions.
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Passion for Sustainability: A genuine interest in renewable energy and Enpal’s mission to drive the energy transition.
• Educational Background: A degree in law, human resources, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in HR management are a plus.
