Enapter is a rapidly-growing energy technology company with offices in Italy, Germany and Thailand. We develop and produce Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolysers that enable low-cost green hydrogen production at any scale.

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to support the MW-scale multi-core system design team efforts within the Engineering organization.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in electrical engineering, with specific expertise in plant design and construction. You will be responsible for the basic and detailed engineering of the electrical package of our Multi-core systems, providing remote and temporary local support to other departments during project development, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrolyser electrical systems in compliance with the applicable safety standards.

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

  • Basic and detailed electrical system design of our MW-scale multi-core systems in accordance with engineering best practices, applicable technical standards and project-specific requirements.
  • Drafting of main deliverables related to electrical system of multi-core projects (single line diagram, wiring diagram, purchase specification, calculation sheets).
  • Deep knowledge and practical experience with Electrical CAD software (EPLAN preferred).
  • Define and support electrical measurements and test in accordance with applicable regulations and standards (Machinery Directive, LVD, EMC, RED and relevant harmonized technical standards).
  • Collaboration with other departments to identify and solve electrical problems during commissioning, maintenance and repair.
  • Manage interfaces with both internal and external stakeholders (management, other engineering disciplines or departments inside the company, testing laboratories, Notified Bodies, Engineering consultants).
  • Promote continuous improvement of electrical design criteria, with the aim of increasing product safety and reliability.

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

  • First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow's world and Enapter's role in it.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Previous working experience as electrical engineer for industrial plants.
  • Deep knowledge of the applicable European directives (Machinery, LVD, EMC, RED).
  • Functional safety expertise according to IEC 61508/61511 would be a plus.
  • Team spirit, excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Italian and English languages are mandatory.
