Job Description
The Senior Manager – People Business Partnering is responsible for driving local HR initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture, and aligning people strategies with business objectives in Poland. Acting as a trusted advisor to the factory Leadership Team, the role ensures that talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development initiatives effectively support business growth and operational success.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Management Team in Poland, you will:
- Act as a strategic partner for managers and leadership, providing support on people-related decisions (structure, workforce planning, talent development, etc.).
- Participate actively in management meetings, advising on people development, engagement activities.
- Deliver tailored HR solutions to support business units in Poland and operational objectives.
- Serve as a sparring partner for management and employees, handling difficult and sensitive personnel issues.
- Act as a change agent that can assist the Polish organization and managers in dealing with organizational issues.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and implementation of local HR initiatives, processes, and tools aligned with KKWS values and culture.
- Drive workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Lead the management of complex employee relations matters ensuring compliance with Polish labor law and company policies.
- Continuously improve local HR and Office Administration processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and measure the effectiveness and impact of HR initiatives.
- Lead and develop a team of local People Partners and Office Administrators.
- Attend monthly meetings with Employee Representatives and drive People and Culture initiatives
Our requirements
- University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in an HR managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Polish labor law.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Intellectual curiosity and empathy, with the ability to understand and connect with people at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Strong business acumen with awareness of economic and financial impacts on organizations.
- High discretion in managing sensitive personnel matters.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge and support management effectively.
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and service-minded approach.
- Confident presence with the ability to speak up and drive action when needed.
