For our location in Cairo, we are looking for an experienced Application Management Engineer to join our team as we establish sonnen's newest office. As a key member of our Application Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the deployment and management of critical applications on a global level. Additionally, you will represent sonnen within the local tech community, helping to build and maintain strong relationships.

What you will do to drive energy transition

• In the role of Application Management Engineer, you will take on a global, operational, and project-related function for the operation and further development of various IT core applications, eg. Jira, Confluence and others, in the areas of project and service management
• You will be a key contact for the operation of our core applications - from identity and access management, maintenance, update and upgrade topics, to integration projects.
• As an Application Management Engineer, you will be part of a team that provides competent support to our user base with all kinds of questions and problems.
• Additionally, you will plan projects together with our IT project and change management teams, define requirements with your technical expertise, and oversee their implementation up to a successful rollout.

What you will need on that journey

• You have a degree in IT or any related area. Alternatively, you have acquired the necessary fundamentals through several years of practice.
• You certainly bring a lot of experience in the area of application management and possess a broad understanding of current IT technologies and developments.
• As an ideal candidate, you can already look back on several years of experience with Atlassian products or have comparable knowledge in the operation of project management or call center solutions.
• You see yourself as a coach, enabler, and focal point for the applications you manage and always have an open ear for the concerns of your users, which you can translate into concrete requirements and activities.
• You bring organizational talent and customer orientation and use your experience to make the user experience of the applications you manage a little better every day.
• You enjoy working with people in a multinational environment that spans from Australia to America and always impress with your open, friendly, and communicative nature.
