Do you want to join a fast-growing international tech and manufacturing company that is in the forefront of reducing emissions?
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Improvement Coordinator to contribute in the development of our Process and Value Engineering department. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional improvements within Corvus Energy's Operations and Quality Management System. You would join our team at our headquarters in Bergen, Norway, reporting to our Process and Value Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee formal changes to released and pre-released products.
- Create and maintain detailed change planning, in the form of scope, tasks, and scheduling, for multiple ongoing Product Change Management (PCM).
- Allocate resources in close co-operation with P&VE Manager to ensure that all personnel are efficiently utilized, and that the capacity of the team is always optimized.
- Ensure efficient and timely completion of ECOs, and consistent, high-quality transition of follow-on tasks that may result from them.
- Adjust the effort, focus, and priorities of the work within the CRB based on input from Product Owner and Technical Product Lead.
- Develop and maintain relationships with members of the cross-functional CRB and external stakeholders.
- Manage the Change Management Process and update it as needed, to ensure that it provides maximum value at the lowest achievable cost.
- Develop and maintain other processes and tools that support Change Management as needed.
- Provide clear, timely reporting to management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvements.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to PCM and Non-Conformance Report (NCR)
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders for continuous resolving PCM and NCRs
- If requested, participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to drive continuous improvement.
Education and Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience with managing product development projects or technology projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is an asset.
- Experience in the maritime sector is an asset.
- Experience with formal change management practices is an asset.
Functional Skills
- Highly experienced and well versed in project management fundamentals.
- Excellent communications skills, as demonstrated in your cover letter and past work.
- Comfortable working with engineers across a wide range of technical disciplines.
Behavioral Skills
- Highly organized and have tenacious attention to detail, comfortable with managing complex, multi-disciplinary tasks.
- Possess a collaborative mindset, a strong drive to solve problems alongside other team members, and to connect people together.
- Have the drive, confidence, and adaptability to fit in as part of a small, growing company.
