Specifically, we are looking for individuals who want a job focusing on supply chain management across multiple supply chain categories, combined with a strong and proactive focus on cost control and optimization of supply chain efficiency.

In this position approximately 60 travel days should be expected during the first year, and thereafter about 30-45 days per year.

• Drive category coordination and development to ensure cost efficiency and sustainability
• Manage supplier development for existing partners to improve performance and compliance
• Negotiate project contracts and framework agreements to secure competitive terms
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to diversify and strengthen the supply base
• Develop category strategies and sourcing plans aligned with business objective
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Production, and Logistics
• Balance cost, schedule, quality, and risk in decision-making

As part of the team, we imagine that you

• A relevant commercial education and minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and category management
• Proven experience in international agreements and sourcing from low-cost regions, ideally with exposure to Asian markets
• A strong background in process optimization and the ability to navigate, support, and challenge stakeholders across the organization and supplier network
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and a solid IT understanding including experience with SharePoint, MS Power BI, Navision, or other ERP systems
• Excellent negotiation and commercial skills
• Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken

Experience in a similar industry and/or a technical background in steel welding is an advantage but not a requirement.
