Job Description

What You'll Do
This role is a high-level enterprise position that balances technical expertise with strategic sales. Operating as a "technical co-seller" and a thought partner to leadership, you will bridge the gap between complex agricultural science and senior executive climate goals. You will be the "Voice of the Customer," ensuring our agricultural decarbonization product roadmap-from livestock feed additives to row crop interventions-aligns perfectly with market demand.
- Co-develop commercial sales strategies alongside Account Executive for companies with North American agricultural supply chains, targeting downstream food and beverage brands and retailers
- Act as the technical product expert in sales calls, often handling 75-90% of the technical narrative to build deep trust with a customer's senior-most climate experts
- Create account-specific plans and expand ongoing client relationships in coordination with Account Executives to close multi-year strategic partnerships
- Use "Voice of Customer" data to guide agricultural product strategy, informing product packaging and pricing, as well as origination strategy including geography, technology, and MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) requirements. Support the management of the North American project portfolio, managing the balance between project supply, customer demand, and risk/reward profiles
- Articulate and reframe 3Degrees' products into bespoke technical proposals that align with a customer's specific "theory of change" for agricultural reductions
- Represent 3Degrees at industry events, attending 2-5 major conferences per year to position the company as a trusted agricultural decarbonization partner
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing to develop sales training and product materials that ensure positioning remains in line with customer needs

- Technical literacy in carbon markets: Ability to speak confidently about carbon markets, MRV requirements, and leading standards bodies like the GHG Protocol
