With its wind division, Axpo develops, builds and operates onshore wind farms in all windy regions of Europe and is also active in Romania. Join Volkswind and help shape the future of renewable energy! We are looking for a motivated individual to support the development and realization of onshore wind projects.

What you will do

• Full responsibility for the development of wind energy projects from site identification until they are ready for construction (site selection, site assessment, approval process, grid connection, execution planning) and support in financing and commercialization.
• Management of service providers, business partners and suppliers along the development process.
• Conducting negotiations with authorities, community representatives, property owners, suppliers, service providers, business partners and other project participants.
• Proactive project reports and resolves roadblocks.

What you bring & who you are

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil or mechanical engineering or renewable energies.
• 5+ years of previous experience in renewable energy, in programme and project management.
• Knowledge about planning and permitting processes in wind energy incl. applicable laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of grid connection procedures and the management of processes within the regulatory framework.
• Advanced Romanian and English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel across the country.
