Your Tasks
- Developing models of the electrical characteristics of generation units in order to comply with (inter-) national grid codes and guidelines
- Validation and evaluation of wind turbine simulation models
- Preparation of the external model validation within the certification process of the electrical properties
- Support of the simulation models to internal and external stakeholder
- Preparation and review of technical documents
- Automatisation of validation and verification tasks
- Participation in or support of (inter-) national committees in modeling and validation procedures
Your Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master or Dipl. Ing. studies in electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on power engineering, control engineering, automation engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the grid integration of generation plants
- Know-how of power engineering, control engineering or power electronics
- Experience with RMS or EMT modelling in at least one simulation software like PSCAD or DigSilent Powerfactory
- Knowledge of Matlab, Python as well as any other simulation software like PSS/E, EMTP-RV and EMTP-ATP is appreciated
- Experience in the development of frequency domain simulation models (harmonic models) will be an added advantage
- Good written and spoken German and English
