Are you passionate about electrical design and ready to take on exciting challenges in the energy storage sector? We're looking for a skilled BESS Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the DC and AC installations of cutting-edge energy storage projects. If you enjoy working hands-on with layouts, schematics, technical specs, and collaborating across teams to bring innovative solutions to life, then join our team!
- Electrical design engineering for DC and AC installations in energy storage projects
- Reviewing design specifications, technical drawings, and tender documents to inform design decisions, assess risks, and ensure compliance with requirements
- Coordinating and negotiating technical specifications and supply agreements with BESS OEMs
- Collaborating closely with technical advisors, sales, procurement, construction teams, and other departments
- Managing project timelines to ensure engineering designs are delivered on schedule
- Assisting in preparing as-built documentation, calculations, and technical reports after project completion
Your profile
- Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Must Have: Experience with energy storage (consultancy, DNO, ICP, renewable energy developer or another engineering environment)
- Must Have: Knowledge and understanding of international and UK electrical standards
- Nice to Have: Knowledge of AutoCAD, G99 applications, electrical design softwares (eplan) or simulation softwares (PVSyst)
- Your skills: communicative teamplayer (m/f/d) with a structured and well-organized method of work
- Willingess to travel (Driving license required)
