Summary/Primary Role
This role coordinates with vendors on equipment specifications, ensuring alignment with project schedules, customer needs, and best practices for electrical systems. Additionally, participation in vendor coordination calls helps set material specifications and timelines. The role includes tracking equipment delivery schedules, managing POs and deposits, and conducting engineering coordination calls to update procurement progress. This role involves using Procore software to manage and process project commitments, change orders, credit change orders, and subcontractor agreements.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities

- Use Procore to prepare commitments, change orders, credit change orders, and subcontractor agreements for active projects, along with reviewing invoices, collaborating with the execution team to understand engineering, permitting and construction progress to properly approve/reject invoices.
- Utilize software to prepare and organize submittals and RFIs related to all engineering disciplines including electrical, structural and civil.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment specifications and requirements per the project schedule, customer requirements and best practices for electrical systems.
- Participate in vendor coordination calls to establish expectations for material specifications and timelines.
- Prepare and track equipment delivery timelines and requirements for POs and deposits based on project needs.
- Conduct engineering coordination calls to inform procurement progress.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- MUST BE proficient in Procore.
- 1-3 years' experience working as Project Engineer for a solar or construction company.
- Proficient in Aurora, Helioscope with some knowledge of AutoCAD preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Expected Hours of Work
An Employee is expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws, while exempt employees may be required to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill their job responsibilities. Overtime requirements will be determined based on the operational needs of the organization. The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Brightcore also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to compliment the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $75,000-$100,000 and is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.

Office/Remote Work Guidelines
