About the Role
The scope includes architecture design, development and review of firmware for Electricity meters products
Areas of Responsibility
- Understand project deliverables & drive the work contents for each deliverable. Estimate/ validate the size & duration of the deliverables.
- Provide architectural solutions to Engineers. Guide Engineers for effective technical implementation as per laid out architectural solutions. Periodically self-review technical implementation for improvements & to bring it in line with architectural solutions.
- Participate in Technical meetings to debottleneck technical issues/challenges. Help team to meet the project deadline.
- Critical problem solving, identification of risks and critical to quality parameters and suggest risk mitigation, prevention of issues and help in failure analysis.
Technical Domain Specific
- Identify new ideas for improving product reliability and architectural design.
- Build & manage the Work-Product repository. Promote & implement reuse of robust & reliable design blocks and work towards standardization. Bring uniform & consistent implementation of technical solutions across the product lines.
- Standardize and harmonize the tool chain to ensure effective use of resources.
- Assume ownership of the living document "Design Guidelines" and continuously monitor its compliance.
- Strong individual contributor as developer.
