What would you work on

• Analyze available battery-storage deals, build financial models, and calculate their business cases, returns, and profitability.
• Structure deals, assess financing options, and support negotiations with banks and partners.
• Represent Second Foundation in discussions with banks and co-investors.
• Prepare investment cases, presentations, and decision-ready materials for senior stakeholders inside the company, and for the partners (banks, co-investors).
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide insights to support optimization and value creation, with a strong focus on corporate finance.
• Set-up reporting processes on deal performance for internal stakeholders and partners.
• Support due diligence and transaction execution in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.

What makes you a great candidate

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a STEM discipline.
• Strong analytical, data-handling, and visualisation skills; Python a plus.
• Advanced financial-modelling skills with full Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Energy-sector experience preferred, or strong motivation to build expertise.
• Detail-oriented, diligent, and able to deliver clear, actionable insights.
• Curious, fast learner with critical and creative problem-solving ability.
