Job Description
As a Cybersecurity OT Specialist at KK Wind Solutions, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing our global OT security capabilities. You'll work across IT, OT, legal, product management, and supplier teams to ensure that cybersecurity principles are embedded in our industrial systems for monitoring, control, and automation.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise, make a real impact in the renewable energy sector, and contribute to the secure digitalization of our operations.
Protect and develop our OT environments, particularly within the energy and wind sectors, by applying standards such as IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and ISO/IEC 27001, as well as EU and national regulations like NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act.
You will support project and operations teams in building secure, robust, and compliant systems based on security-by-design principles.
Responsibilities
- Identify and manage cybersecurity risks in OT environments, following key standards such as IEC 62443-3-2 and ISO/IEC 27005, including risk assessments of suppliers and third-party integrations.
- Contribute to the design of secure OT network architectures with proper segmentation, access control, and defense-in-depth principles.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure that security is integrated from concept to deployment
- Support and improve OT-specific incident response processes, including investigation, log analysis, and recovery adapted to industrial systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations - including IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO/IEC 27001/27019, NIS2, and NERC CIP - and align internal processes accordingly.
- Translate cybersecurity requirements into clear, actionable deliverables for product and engineering teams, supporting compliance and customer commitments.
- Evaluate and help implement technologies across the OT lifecycle, such as asset discovery, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and automation tools, focusing on secure-by-design principles.
- Promote awareness and understanding of OT security across the organization through knowledge sharing and training.
- Communicate cybersecurity priorities clearly to both technical specialists and senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to embedding cybersecurity into operations, product development, and customer-facing projects - supporting KK Wind Solutions' strategic goals.
Our Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with OT security, industrial automation, or related technical domains.
- Knowledge of OT systems design, architecture, or deployment in industrial or energy environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with security standards (IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO/IEC 27001/27019, NERC CIP, NIS2).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, industrial automation, and control systems.
- Excellent communication skills - able to bridge the gap between technical teams and management.
- A collaborative mindset and motivation to learn and grow into a key OT security expert.
