Position Specific Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Sr. Business Analyst with expertise in front office business operations and the Endur trading and risk management system. As a Front Office Sr. Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the trading desk by leveraging your knowledge of Endur to enhance trading strategies and risk management processes. You will work closely with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to ensure the effective use of Endur in daily trading activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy trading, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of commodity markets.

Responsibilities

  • Support the trading desk by providing insights and analysis using the Endur system to optimize trading strategies and risk management.
  • Hands on experience with Endur APM, Deal Templates, Trading Explorer, and RTPE manager.
  • Practical experience in utilizing other Endur modules, including but not limited to Credit/Risk Manager, market data management, curve configuration, settlement desktop, and accounting desktop
  • Collaborate with traders and risk managers to understand business requirements and translate them into system enhancements and configurations.
  • Assist in the configuration and customization of Endur to meet the specific needs of the Front Office.
  • Monitor and analyze trading activities, positions, and market trends to provide actionable insights to the trading team.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Endur to support decision-making processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of the Endur system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in energy trading and risk management.
  • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Endur with other business systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a Front Office role within the energy trading industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Front Office business operations and the Endur trading and risk management system.
  • Excellent understanding of commodity markets, including power, gas, oil, environmental and IR Swaps.
  • Hands-on experience with Endur modules, including deal capture, scheduling, position management, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with traders and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic trading environment.
