Freedom Solar Power is looking for a customer service-oriented Service Coordinator to join our growing team! The service team plays a critical role in providing exceptional customer experience while answering customer inquiries related to solar system service calls. You will be serving as a liaison between customers and service technicians to ensure efficient and timely solutions to clients. This is an in-office opportunity.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Monitoring customer solar systems and educating homeowners on system efficiency and productivity
- Creating and tracking work orders and workflow maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Handling invoicing for all service tickets and coordinating payment with accounting
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer support
- Serving as a liaison between our customers and technicians
- Working with scheduling to confirm service visits
- Answering customer concerns or service requests regarding their solar products
- Understanding the freedom Solar Power products and the installation process to answer questions
- Assist with other duties and tasks outside of our day-to-day duties
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Solar experience
- Escalation experience
- At least 1 year of high-volume customer engagement experience.
- Must be able to multitask and handle working under pressure.
- Prior solar experience in monitoring, sales, or service capacity is a strong plus!
- Strong computer skills.
- Must possess professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to handle high-stress calls and customer escalations.
- Working knowledge of the solar industry, installation processes, or electrical.
- Highly organized with the ability to self-manage.
- Ability to manage projects in pipelines.
- Team mentality.
- Flexible to change.
