Pay Range $45/hr. to $55/hr. (DOE) + Bonuses + Benefits

Position Summary
The Journeyman Electrician provides technical expertise for residential solar installations, ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with state and local codes
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble and install residential solar electrical components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system issues
- Ensure all work meets NEC, OSHA, AHJ, and utility requirements
- Coordinate with branch leaders to meet compliance standards
- Maintain safe work practices and high-quality workmanship
- Bend conduit (EMT) with consistent, high-quality results
- Upload photos, document work, and update job status
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the project
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
Education & Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License
Experience
- 3+ years of electrical installation and repair experience
- Skilled in residential service upgrades and panel replacements
- Proficient with hand and power tools
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in warehouse, rooftop, and field environments
- Knowledge of current NEC codes
Physical Demands and Abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
