We are looking for a Project Engineer, Process / Senior Project Engineer, Process with a main responsibility in providing process design for engine power plant projects. The location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, Process / Senior Project Engineer, Process your work will include:

  • Engineer process flow diagrams, P&IDs and device lists
  • Perform process calculations and simulations needed for the process design
  • Make process descriptions for the processes
  • Co-ordinate the process design with core project team, internal experts, design partner and sub-suppliers in own projects
  • Support the project teams with project specific design packages and other related tasks
  • Participate in development and sales project with different process design related tasks

The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You'll be working as a part of multicultural and open-minded Process Engineering & Safety team with diverse expertise.

Requirements for the position

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar
  • Interest in working in an international team developing oneself and others
  • For the Senior Project Engineer position, we require some years of work experience
  • For the Project Engineer position, we encourage also recent graduates to apply

Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have

  • Being self-going and motivated to learn and grow professionally
  • Good communication, negotiation and team working skills
  • Ability to understand and work with diverse cultures
  • Good English skills. Ability to communicate orally and in writing with different stakeholders.
  • Capability to efficiently produce technical documents in English.
