Job Description

At OX2, you work for a professional and ambitious company that is committed to accelerating access to renewable energy to speed up the transition to clean energy. OX2 Technical and Commercial Management (TCM) is now looking for a Commercial Asset Manager to manage our client's wind power assets. You will have a very important role in our Commercial Management team, where we strive for long-term and efficient growth in the management of large-scale wind farms.

This position is open for several locations in Finland.

Working as a Commercial Asset Manager in OX2

As Commercial Manager at OX2 TCM, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business within your area of responsibility (project manager for specific windfarms) by working closely together with the Commercial Management team, as well as with the Site Management, Accounting Management and Reporting teams.

Your main responsibilities

  • Be the customer manager (main point of contact) for asset owners and coordinate communication and relations with them.
  • Develop our long-term relationship with our customers through a proactive delivery of services based on their requirements.
  • Ensure efficient and proactive operation of the assets together with experienced colleagues through planning, analysis, and follow up.
  • Ensure legal and permit compliance for the customers' assets.
  • Act as the point of contact towards authorities, landowners and other local stakeholders.
  • Manage and follow up on all contracted services for the wind farms. Lead procurement and re-negotiations of contracts with suppliers when needed.
  • Coordination and management of technical investigations that may involve third party experts, contractors/suppliers as well as legal advisors.
  • Plan, budget and follow up on activities in the customers' wind farms.
  • Identify and promote asset revenue optimization initiatives based on market conditions.
  • Participate in initiatives for process development within the team.

About You

We believe that you have at least 3+ years' relevant work experience and that you are a self-driven person with a high sense of ownership in what you do. You are a strong communicator, well organized and have the leadership abilities to project manage a high-quality delivery to our customers by the support from knowledgeable colleagues, where you would act as a link between the business perspective and the technical side.

Your qualifications and experience

  • Higher education with technical and/or commercial/contractual focus.
  • 3+ years of work experience with similar tasks, previous experience from energy or wind industry is an advantage, but not necessary.
  • Good language proficiency in English and Finnish both verbal and written is a must.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and the Office package (especially Excel) and SharePoint.
  • Hands on and solution-oriented mindset with high sense of ownership.

Experience within the following areas is valuable but not required

  • Previous work experience from asset management, project management or coordination.
  • Experience from the energy sector.
  • Experience of contract management, general contract terms (YSE98, ABA99, ABT06, etc.) and wind turbine O&M contracts.
