Your Role
As Site HSE Manager, you will ensure the safe execution of wind farm construction projects in compliance with:
- Local HSE laws and regulations
- Nordex standards and processes
- Client and project-specific requirements
You will be a key player in promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement on site.
Key Responsibilities

HSE Planning & Compliance
- Prepare and monitor the Project HSE Plan and related documentation (risk assessments, method statements, emergency plans, site inductions).
- Review contractor documentation and ensure compliance before work starts.

Site Induction & Training
- Organize and deliver site induction sessions for Nordex teams and contractors.
- Promote HSE awareness through toolbox talks and daily briefings.

Daily Site Support
- Participate in progress meetings, highlight HSE issues, and propose improvements.
- Support the implementation of Permit-to-Work systems.

Monitoring & Reporting
- Conduct safety walks, inspections, and audits with project stakeholders.
- Report HSE metrics (incidents, observations, hours worked) weekly/monthly.

Incident Management
- Ensure timely reporting and investigation of incidents.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions.
Your Profile

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in HSE or related field.

Experience: 3-5 years in HSE supervision on construction sites (wind energy preferred).

Certifications: GWO training (Working at Height, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling).

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO standards (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001).
- Proficient in risk analysis, incident investigation, and MS Office.

Languages: Fluent in French and English (English is the common site language).

Attributes: Proactive, organized, excellent communicator, team player, safety-focused.
Work Conditions
- Location: Project site (with desk at Nordex site compound).
- Work pattern: Defined by site organization.
- Ability to work at height (hub heights up to 150m) and medical fitness required.
